Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker's update has added six new hairstyles for the Viera playable race: "Ponytails, Controlled Chaos, Pulse, Battle-ready Bobs," and "Scanning for Style." One of the haircuts is free, but the rest must be unlocked. Below we've listed each new hairstyle available for Viera in Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker and how to unlock them all.

Basic Hairstyle

Starting from the only free hairstyle on the list, it is what it sounds like. It is a basic hairstyle that players can unlock when they first load the character. You'll find it at the end of the character list and select it.

Ponytail Hairstyle

To add some spice to a Vieras appearance, you can opt for the Ponytail Hairstyle.

To acquire the style, players must have access to the Gold Saucer, the arcade zone of Final Fantasy XIV. Near the front desk, where prizes are exchanged, players can meet a Modern Aesthetics saleswoman who offers hairstyles in exchange for MGP. Players can find Ponytails for Viera in her catalog for 8,000 MGP.

To be able to unlock the Gold Saucer, you'll have to complete the quest 'It Could Happen to You' available at level 15 from the Well-heeled Youth.

Controlled Chaos

Another style that Final Fantasy XIV fans can obtain for the Viera race is "Controlled Chaos."

To acquire this side bob haircut, players must unlock the Ishgardian Restoration for The Firmament and a campaign to rebuild Ishgard's residential ward destroyed during the Dragonsong War. Players can access The Firmament questline after they've completed the Level 60 post-Heavensward MSQ "Litany of Peace." Once this questline has been unlocked, speak to Enie at X:12.0, Y:14.0 in The Firmament to exchange 1,800 Skybuilders' Scrips for the Controlled Chaos haircut.

Pulse Hairstyle

The fourth hairstyle is "Pulse," a style exclusive to the online store.

There are two ways one could acquire this hairstyle. First, if you were part of the 2013 FFXIII collaboration event way back, then you've already acquired it. However, if not, you'll sadly have to purchase it with real money.

You'll find it on online stores under the lightening attire for $15, and you'll also receive the 'Modern Aesthetics Pulse' item as well.

Battle-ready Bobs

The fifth hairstyle is the iconic look from Square Enix's Nier: Automata, 2B's Battle-ready Bob.

To obtain this haircut, players will need to reach the Shadowbringers expansion in FFXIV. More specifically, Viera fans must unlock "The Tower at Paradigm's Breach" Alliance Raid in the "YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse" questline. The Raid's final boss will have a chance to drop the Battle-ready Bob; as a result, players will need to roll Need to acquire it.

Scanning for Style

The final unlockable hairstyle for Viera is 9C's Scanning for Style, which is also unlocked in the same Nier: Automata Raid in Final Fantasy XIV as Battle-ready Bob.

Players will need to farm the third Raid's final boss, 41626572726174696F6E: The False Idol, to obtain Scanning for Style.
