The upcoming patch for Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, the long-anticipated 3.1 patch, is gonna be a big one. Patch 3.1 for Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is so big, in fact, that it comes with its own grandiose Final Fantasy -style title and a seven minute trailer that highlights the many new features Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward’s 3.1 patch promises to bring to the world of Eorzea.

The trailer highlights a lot of what’s to be found in the new Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward 3.1 patch: a new endgame area called The Diadem, new mini-games in the Golden Saucer, and extended previews of new expert dungeons Saint Mocianne’s Arboretum and Pharos Sirius (hard), a new Primal battle (The Minstrel’s Ballad: Thordan’s Reign), a new 24-player raid (the Void Ark) featuring sky pirates, as well as new Beast Tribe Quests for the Vanu Vanu, additional quests in the Heavensward main scenario, and additional cosmetic options like new hairstyles.

Experience in level 51+ dungeons will be increased.
Ninja Mudra algorithm changed for quick input despite high latency.
