The Rising returns to Final Fantasy XIV Online with new rewards to mark the eighth anniversary of the Calamity. Here's everything you need to know about where to unlock the rising quest, find the rising vendor 2021, and get all the free rewards.

Where To Unlock The Rising Calm Event Quest?

To start The Rising 2021 quest, head to Ul'dah and speak with Kipih Jakkya at the Steps of Nald (X:10.0, Y:8.7). It would help if you were at least Level 15 to accept the "Rising Calm" seasonal quest. Agree to help her in chasing down the mysterious person and the lilies for her news scoop.

1). Go to (X:11.6, Y:9.6) and speak to Momodi in the Quicksand.

2). Next, you need to go to the Alchemist's Guild in the Steps of Thal (you can use an Aethernet Shard for quick access). At (X:9.2, Y:13.6), speak to Severian.

3). Severian will direct you to Deitrich, just a short distance away (X:8.9, Y:13.6).

4). Head back to the Quicksand in the Steps of Nald and speak with Kipih Jakkya at (X:11.4, Y:9.4).

5). Go to (X:10.1, Y;8.3) and speak to the Wandering Minstrel.

6). Go back into the Quicksand and speak with Kipih Jakkya at (X:11.4, Y:9.4).

7). Finally, head to (X:10.8, Y:10.2) and speak with the Wandering Minstrel to complete the quest.

Completing the quest will put you into an Endwalker-themed cutscene with an extraordinary guest. You'll also receive the Red Moon Parasol item, ten Nymeria Potpourri consumables, and The Great Eight achievement.

When you're finished with the primary The Rising 2021 event, Rising Calm, you can find the vendor right in the middle of Ul'dah – Steps of Nald, at coordinates (X:10.5, Y:8.5). Again, you will not need to use any specific event-exclusive currency to purchase these items. They're all available for Final Fantasy XIV Gil.
