FFXIV Patch 3.5 Preview

Egi Glamours

This time, gamers will be able to "change their egi's appearance by using a text command, which can be learned upon completing the quest "An Egi by Any Other Name." The available Egi Glamours are Emerald Carbuncle, Topaz Carbuncle and Ruby Carbuncle.

Party Finder Update

"The Party Finder will be expanded to allow players to search for parties across all Worlds on the same data center." 

"An option to form private parties will also be available for those looking to play with friends on the same World or a different one."

"Players will now be able to recruit characters from any of these Worlds and form cross-world parties. Players will be able to use the party chat and register for duties in cross-world parties, as they would normally."

"Those who wish to form a private party will be able to set a four-character password when sending out a party invite. This feature can also be used with cross-world parties to invite friends residing on a different World."

As the new year is coming, to celebrate the new year, there is gonna be Heavensturn festival. It will start from Dec 31st, 2016 to Jan 16, 2017. You are able to get a new set of yearly themed kabuto helms, also there is a doll and a new Orchestrion roll for players who prefer other rewards. Seasonal quests are also available.
