Chocobo is a useful transportation in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. It is well-known that its default is yellow. To beautify your mount, you can now chance the color of Chocobo by feeding it fruit. This guide shows you how to dye your chocobo in the game world.

In order to change the color of your mount, the first thing you need do is to plant fruit. There are seven types of snacks.

Each type of snack change Chocobo’s plumage into different colors. The following is the chart of Chocobor color. Based on the color you like, you can choose fruit you need.For example, if you want to change Chocobo into rose Pink, you need O'Ghomoro Berry x21,, Xelphatol Apple x7 and Mamook Peart x7.

Next up, you can start to plant fruit in your garden.
- To plant the fruit seed.
- To fertilize your crops.
- To harvest your crops.

You can use the fruit you harvest to feed the Chocobo while it is in the stable. Then you just wait for six hours (Earth Time) and check your mount. You will find that your Chocobo is different.

Warnings:
1).No change will occur if chocobos are removed from the stable prematurely,it is recommended to feed them during times when the chocobos can be left stabled for extended period,such as prior to logging out for the day.

2).You can grow these plants by buying their seeds for 15 allied seals each,I plant one of each seed during the episode in my free company garden to show how easy it is to do.It takes a couple of days to grow and will yield more than 30 fruits if done correctlt,which is much cheaper than buying them from the market board.
