Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker has plenty of new story content to dive into, along with many side quests and optional items to collect. It has also expanded upon systems implemented in previous expansions, such as Shadowbringer's Bicolor Gemstones. Here's how to get and use the Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers.

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker - How to Get & Use Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers?

How to Get Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers?

As the name suggests, the Bicolor Gemstone Voucher can be obtained by collecting and turning in a certain number of Bicolor Gemstones. You need to participate in and complete FATEs in any of the new Endwalker zones to get them.

1). Shared FATEs

To find each area's Shared FATEs, open the main menu, head to the "Travel" tab, and select the "Shared FATE" option. Once in the Shared Fate menu, you will see each region's FATEs and your current completion/rank within them.

Leveling up a rank requires a player to complete FATEs. Completing a single FATE unlocks rank 1, 6 FATEs unlocks rank 2, and 60 FATEs unlocks rank 3.

2). Endwalker Shared FATE Locations

The following locations are the six default Shared FATE areas in Endwalker:

    • Thavnair
    • Labyrinthos
    • Garlemald
    • Mare Lamentorum
    • Elpis
    • Ultima Thule

To access the last three locations, you need to level each area's FATE Rank to level 3 - 360 FATEs across all regions completed.

    • Old Sharlayan
    • Radz-at-Han
    • Mor Dhona

The more you contribute to completing a FATE, the more experience you'll get, and the more Gemstones you'll also be rewarded with.

3). How to Obtain Vouchers?

Once you have 100 Bicolor Gemstones, you can trade them in with the following NPCs for a Voucher:

    • Gadfrid: Old Sharlayan – The Agora (X:13, Y:10.5)
    • Sajareen: Radz-at-Han – West Balshahn Bazaar (X:11, Y:10)

Speak with either Gemstone Trader NPCs to collect your Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers.

4). Purchase Vouchers from Market Board

Additionally, you can purchase the vouchers from Final Fantasy 14's Market Board, but be warned; they can be pretty expensive (100,000+ Final Fantasy XIV Gil for 1).

How to Use Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers?

After saving up enough vouchers for one or both items, you will need to speak with Luxury Trader, Edelina in Mor Dhona (X:22.1, Y:4.9), turn in the Vouchers you've collected, and you can use them to purchase the Fallen Angel Wings and Wivre Horn items.

Wivre Horn

1). Fallen Angel Wings

    • Type: Fashion Accessory
    • Description: Jet black wings of a fallen angel, perfect for anyone looking for edgier cosmetics.
    • Cost: 500 Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers (50,000 Bicolor Gemstones)
    • Location: Mor Dhona (22.1, 4.9)

2). Wivre Horn

    • Type: Mount Acquisition
    • Description: Blowing the horn emits a deep, booming sound, calling upon the Wivre.
    • Cost: 500 Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers (50,000 Bicolor Gemstones)
    • Location: Mor Dhona (22.1, 4.9)

Do note that you'll need 500 Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers for each item, which means that you need a total of 1,000 Vouchers if you want both the mount and the wings, which will run you 100,000 Bicolor Gemstones total.

That's all you need to know about how to get and use Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers in FFXIV Endwalker. But it is up to the individual to decide if you want to spend the arguably obscene amount of time and effort required to earn even one of the items.
