With the upcoming reshuffling of the datacenters, world visit system, and free world transfers. Population statistics click here, likely to change dramatically in the coming weeks. The number of active players on different server is also a factor in determining Final Fantasy XIV gil's needs. Our orders are more from NA and JP server. There are various comments in passing about different servers having different kinds of communities. This guide is one of my suggestions. Please let me know how you feel about the community on your server.

[NA Data Centers]

AETHER

Adamantoise.

Hunt community appears to be present, but trains are not too large.

Healthy Market Board.

Cactuar

High population but low public interaction, with a cliquey or insular feel. A community with pride in their server, active on Discord and Facebook.

3rd most active raid scene on Aether, behind Gilgamesh and Sargatanas. Most players hang out in endgame areas.

Healthy market board, but crafting bots make selling difficult.

Faerie

Known to be an LGBT-friendly server.

Gilgamesh

Popular with redditors.

Hardcore raiding server. Populous, with high clear rates of end-game content.

Fast-paced Market Board.

Jenova

Roleplaying-focused server with numerous events held by Free Companies. Known to be communicative and helpful.

Large Discord presence with a dedicated Discord server for Free Companies.

Midgardsormr

"Balanced" server in terms of economy and playstyle, with a coordinated hunting linkshell community. Cheap raid food.

Casual to mid-intensity players with a low hardcore playerbase.

Sargatanas

Significant endgame raider presence.

Elevated population of FFXIV "content creators".

Large Twitch streamer population.

Organized hunt community.

Dedicated hunting community with a large linkshell network.

High-end crafters and decorators. Considered to be a "balanced" server in terms of game aspects.

Known to be an LGBT-friendly server.

CRYSTAL

Balmung

Unofficial roleplaying-focused server. In-server progress groups are limited so players often rely on cross-world parties for progression and Party Finder.

Reputation for erotic roleplaying.

Known to be congested. Difficult to register a character to.

"Buyer's Market" Market Board reflective of the high population, with low prices.

Brynhildr

Expensive Market Board.

Morning hunt trains. Limited raiding presence.

Coeurl

Organized hunt community with a dedicated Discord server.

High population, but with a balanced Market board economy and varied players. Little in the way of RP or raiding scenes. Market Board may be a "seller's market" for higher-end gear.

Diabolos

Home to the non-profit organization "A Stage Reborn".

Goblin

Quiet, cliquey server with a more private vibe. FCs are small and closed.

Established hunting community with timed courtesies.

Cheap Market Board prices.

Malboro

Quiet server with a limited RP scene.

Large low-quality "aggregate" Free Companies present, but also tightly-knit smaller Free Companies selective in recruiting. History of toxicity. Current "Preferred World" status may be changing this dynamic with an influx of new players.

Seems to have a prominent Bard community.

Quality Novice Network.

Mateus

Inflated population numbers due to a large number of alternate characters that are level 50 and under. Some hardcore raiders.

Large and active hunting scene. Prefers shouts to Party Finder.

Competitive Market Board economy, with reports of harassment. "Extremely high" prices.

Unofficial roleplaying-focused server.

Dense active population in most to all areas. Toxicity in the shout chat in Ul'dah, but generally not cliquey elsewhere.

Appears to have a large erotic roleplaying community.

Zalera

Primarily new and casual players. Formerly a low-population "preferred world".

Large and active hunting scene with a dedicated linkshell network. Does not use Party Finder for hunts, instead choosing to relay through Linkshells and area-wide shouts.

PRIMAL

Behemoth

Has a prominent Brazilian player base.

Excalibur

"Hardcore raiding" server.

Exodus

Limited hunting community with more shouts and relays on spawn than trains.

Serviceable Novice Network with reliable mentors.

Above-average population of partnered Twitch streamers, with a community that embraces streaming.

Hyperion

Lamia
