monetization of videos and streams of Final Fantasy XIV are permitted
JP and Mr.Happy couldn’t cover the release or review Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. because Square Enix forbid all monetization on video content. Well for many of these people, being a content creator is their sole occupation, and their sole income. As passionate as they are about a game, they cannot afford to spend their time creating content which has no ability to contribute to their income.
For full time streamers, it’s also a similar issue. Even though they would very much like to play the game, they are forced to all but abandon it as they cannot run their usual advertisements while they’re playing the game. They simply cannot afford it.
Content creators everywhere can now make money from creating videos and streaming Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Not only will it allow full time content creators to afford to play the game with Final Fantasy XIV Gil, but should open up a wealth of publicity for Square Enix.
