In FFXIV:ARR, the level of an item determines the quality of item. An item with higher level will usually be better than item with lower level. Once your character at level 50, you can get equipment with high item level through various methods. Today, we are glad to share two methods to upgrade weapon to item level 100.

1. Whorleater
Mirror of The Whorl is an extremely rare drop from The Whorleater which can transforms your item Level 95 wave weapon and Shield into item level 100. It seems the fast method to level up weapon, but it is really hardest. I have explored Whorleater more than 80 times, nothing i can get. While, the other player got 3 after 100 times explored. As for now, the drop rate of Mirror of The Whorl about 2%-3%, but there are 7 players share it with you. So, the chance you can get it about 2% x 1/8 x luck = 0.25%. Actually, if you want to depend on Mirror Of the Whorl to upgrade weapon, it is farthest way.

2.The Second Coil of Bahamut Turn 2
The drop rate of Level 100 items in Coil of Bahamut is 100%. Players will obtain 30 Allagan Tomestone of Soldiery for completing each turn. Allagan Tomestone Of Soldiery was introduced in patch 2.2. Players can exchange these Tomestones for level 100 Weathered Armor and Accessories and Rowena’s Token (Soldiery) by giving them to Auriana in Mor Dhona (x22,y6).While, as for now the PT is not high and the items distribution in a group is uncertain.
