To break the monotony of the grind, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has the F.A.T.E. system to occupy players. What this is and how it can help you get more FFXIV items and FFXIV Gil will be discussed below.
Full Active Time Event, otherwise known as F.A.T.E. are random events that pop up in any non-instanced area. Players in the zone will be alerted via a broadcast message. They can then join the event by entering the designated area marked on the zone map. No FFXIV Gil fees required. F.A.T.E.s come in two types: singular boss fights and multi-mob encounters. Some F.A.T.E.s even come with friendly NPCs, like Final Fantasy XII’s Lightning, to assist players.
Completing a F.A.T.E. rewards the character on the FFXIV account with FFXIV Gil, and experience. In certain events, special items may also be awarded. Make sure that your class level isn’t too high though. Rewards will be diminished if you’re too high or low level for the event.
